Privacy Policy
What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Written in plain English, because trust is the whole point.
Who we are
Robin is an AI chief of staff for local service businesses. It answers calls and texts on behalf of a business, books and manages appointments, sends reminders and review requests, and helps the business keep customers coming back. Robin is a product of CLAWVR, operated by Epic Advisory Group, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you. It applies to the business owners who sign up for Robin and to the customers of those businesses who call or text a phone number powered by Robin. If you have any questions, you can reach a real person at hello@getclawvr.com.
Information we collect
From the business owner who signs up. When you create and run a Robin account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and business phone number, along with the business details you provide so Robin can represent you accurately (services offered, hours, pricing, location, and similar operating information). When you subscribe to a paid plan, your billing information (such as your card details) is collected and processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
On behalf of the business, when their customers call or text. When a customer contacts a phone number powered by Robin, we process the caller's phone number, the content of the message or conversation, basic call metadata (such as the time of the call and, when available, the city and state of the caller), and any appointment details that come up during the conversation. Robin uses this information to text the caller back, answer their questions, and book appointments for the business. In this context the business is the owner of that customer information, and we process it to provide the service to that business.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the service: answering calls, texting customers back, holding conversations, and booking appointments on behalf of the business. We also use it to alert the business owner about new calls, messages, and bookings, to maintain and improve how Robin works, and to handle billing, account management, and customer support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the content of customer conversations to send our own marketing to those customers.
Service providers and processors
We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to run the service. These include Twilio for telephony and SMS, Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database hosting, and Google for calendar synchronization when a business chooses to connect its calendar. These providers process information only to deliver their service to us and are bound by their own obligations to handle that information appropriately. We share information with them only to the extent needed to make Robin work.
Text messaging and consent
Messages a customer may receive. When a customer contacts a business that uses Robin, or has an existing relationship with that business, Robin may send messages on the business’s behalf. These are relationship and transactional messages tied to that interaction, such as a reply to a missed call, answers to questions, appointment confirmations and reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, requests for a review after a visit, waitlist notifications when a spot opens, and occasional follow-ups about a request the customer made. Message frequency varies based on the customer’s activity with the business. We do not use these numbers for our own marketing.
Customers who receive texts from Robin can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and they may reply HELP for assistance. We honor opt-out requests and follow applicable messaging regulations, including the rules of the carriers and messaging platforms we use. Standard message and data rates may apply to customers depending on their mobile plan.
Businesses that use Robin are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any consent required for outreach they direct, and for their own compliance with the laws that apply to their messaging. Robin is designed primarily to respond to inbound calls and texts initiated by the customer.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can provide the service, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with an individual.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain certain records. To make a request, email us at hello@getclawvr.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a customer of a business that uses Robin and your request concerns that business's records, we may direct your request to that business, since the business is the owner of that information.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Robin is built for businesses and the customers they serve. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at hello@getclawvr.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Your California and other state privacy rights
We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or under similar laws in other states.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at hello@getclawvr.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If your request concerns information held by a business that uses Robin, we may direct it to that business, since the business owns that information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service evolves or as the law requires. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email or through the product. Your continued use of Robin after an update means you accept the revised policy.
