Open Pixel

A 1x1 transparent image embedded in an email — loading it signals the email was opened.

The canonical open-tracking technique. Every email contains <img src="https://example.com/track/open?t=token" />. When the recipient opens the email, their mail client requests the pixel — the server logs the open. CLAWVR's self-hosted open pixel lives at /api/track/open.
